{"id":644,"date":"2017-05-07T12:11:01","date_gmt":"2017-05-07T10:11:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pe1br.nl\/?page_id=644"},"modified":"2022-02-15T08:12:49","modified_gmt":"2022-02-15T07:12:49","slug":"iic-pll-controller-v2-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.pe1br.nl\/?page_id=644","title":{"rendered":"ATV controller mainboard"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>design:<\/h1>\n<p>I did a total redesign of the I2C PLL controller software.<br \/>\nThe new software uses the Wire library instead of the bit-banging method which also allows me to use the I2C bus for extra options.<br \/>\nThe result is this new micro controller board that still fits nice underneath the 2\u00d716 LCD display print:<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/foto-pll-contorller-e1494149539230.jpg\" alt=\"PLL Controller\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I2C bus to connect the pll and to power the board (power supply 6.5 to 15 volt).<br \/>\nI2C bus to connect an PE4302 attenuator board (0 til 31.5 dB in 0.5 dB steps).<br \/>\nProgramming interface to program the arduino (power-supply 5 volt only).<br \/>\nPower jumper to select power from I2C or TTL.<br \/>\nI\/O bus for sequencer control.<br \/>\nWorks with my default <a href=\"\/?page_id=610\" title=\"Buttonboard page\" target=\"_blank\">button board<\/a>.<br \/>\nWorks with the <a href=\"\/?page_id=672\" title=\"I2C attenuator board\" target=\"_blank\">I2C attenuator board<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/PLL-controller-connections.png\" alt=\"Connections\" \/><\/p>\n<p>all outputs are 5 volt low power, Always use A transistor to switch A relay.<\/p>\n<h1>Menu options:<\/h1>\n<p>Frequency<br \/>\nAttenuation (use optional <a href=\"\/?page_id=672\" title=\"PE4302 Attenuator board\" target=\"_blank\">PE4302 Attenuator board<\/a>)<br \/>\nStep size<br \/>\nI2C adress<br \/>\nBand<br \/>\nsequencer delay<br \/>\nPLL model<br \/>\nClear EEprom<\/p>\n<p>there are 4 buttons connected to the board to adjust the parameters.<br \/>\nParameter up<br \/>\nParameter down<br \/>\nmenu<br \/>\nback<\/p>\n<h1>Downloads:<\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"\/IIC%20control%20V2.sch\" title=\"schematic\">Eagle schematic file<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"\/IIC%20control%20V2.brd\" title=\"board\">Eagle board file<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"\/pllmenu-6.ino\" title=\"Software\">arduino ino file<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I can think of A lot of extensions and off-cause also other options to use this hardware and software, for example A repeater without the lcd and button control, just 1 steady frequency send to the receivers and transmitters (maybe even add Ethernet for remote control).
